SNAKOL App Guide

SNAKOL SMD Component Tweezer Testers are professional electronic measuring tools designed for fast and accurate testing of SMD components. These devices do not require mobile applications or cloud services. All measurements and settings are performed directly on the device.

This guide explains device operation, supported functions, usage scenarios, and important notes for correct and safe use.

Application Requirement

No mobile application is required.

SNAKOL SMD Component Tweezer Testers operate as standalone digital instruments with a built-in display and onboard measurement system. No Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or external software is needed.

All functions are accessible directly through the device interface.

Device Functions Overview

SNAKOL SMD Component Tweezer Testers combine multiple diagnostic functions in a compact form factor:

  • Resistance (R) measurement
  • Capacitance (C) measurement
  • Inductance (L) measurement
  • ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) testing
  • Diode testing
  • Automatic component identification (model-dependent)

These functions allow quick diagnostics without desoldering components from the PCB.

Typical Use Scenarios

  • Electronics repair and maintenance
  • Smartphone and laptop motherboard diagnostics
  • Power supply and capacitor testing
  • Laboratory measurements
  • Educational and engineering applications

The tweezer format allows direct contact with SMD components, improving speed and reducing handling errors.

How to Use the SNAKOL Tweezer Tester

  1. Power on the device using the main control button
  2. Select the required measurement mode (manual or auto, depending on model)
  3. Place the tweezer tips directly on the SMD component
  4. Read measurement results instantly on the display
  5. Power off the device after use to save battery

Some models support automatic mode switching based on detected component type.

Charging and Power Information

  • Powered by a built-in rechargeable battery (model-dependent)
  • Charging via USB cable
  • Battery status is shown on the display

Always use a standard USB power source for charging. Do not use fast-charging adapters unless specified by the product documentation.

Compatibility Notes

  • Designed for SMD components only
  • Suitable for on-board measurements in most cases
  • Accuracy may be affected by surrounding circuit paths when testing in-circuit
  • Not intended for high-voltage or live circuit measurements

For best accuracy, test components in a powered-off circuit.

Safety and Usage Recommendations

  • Do not test live circuits
  • Avoid excessive pressure on SMD components
  • Keep tweezer tips clean for accurate measurements
  • Store the device in a dry environment
  • Calibrate if required according to the user manual

Important Notice

The exact features and measurement ranges depend on the specific SNAKOL model.
Always refer to the product description and included user manual for detailed specifications and limitations.
